DR. HANS WAKEMAN
Dr. Hans Wakeman has been practicing in the Atlanta area since 1993. He is a graduate of Life College. He also received a bachelor of science in exercise science from Appalachian State University in 1987. He is a husband and father of three wonderful children and resides in the Northlake area of town.
Dr. Wakeman is an active member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association and frequently attends seminars and educational programs to keep abreast of the rapidly evolving information in natural healthcare. He practices a variety of techniques including Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Applied Kinesiology (AK), Clinical Kinesiology (CK), Thompson Drop Techniques, Activator, as well as various trigger point/muscle release therapies.
To help women during pregnancy, Dr. Wakeman practices the Webster Technique, which is a specific analysis and manipulation of the sacral joints, hips, and ligaments that are especially safe for expectant mothers.
Dr. Wakeman has loved sports since he was a boy and continues to play volleyball for recreation. Hans simply loves people of all kinds and from all walks of life. This deep connection to others is the spark that informs his work and fuels his commitment to help them achieve their health goals.
